DREAM BALL for fundraising at St. Peter's Church
On the 7th March 2014, 7:30pm
The Dream Research Institute, DRI, in Maida Vale together with
the HELP Counselling Centre in Notting Hill
are hosting a Fundraising Ball
at St. Peter’s Church & the RR Gallery
on Kensington Park Road.
The theme is dreams.
The Dream Research Institute, DRI, is a charitable organisation that promotes research on dreams from the Transpersonal perspective, an approach that views dreams as key to physical, psychological and spiritual wholeness. As part of the Centre for Counselling & Psychotherapy Education, the DRI supports a synergy of research to advance our understanding of dreams.
Researchers at the DRI address such fundamental questions as the contribution of dreams to mental and physical health, the role of dreams and lucid dreams in psycho-spiritual transformation, the effectiveness of dream work in psychotherapy as well as the neurology of states of consciousness in dreams.
HELP Counselling Centre is a Charity providing short & long-term counselling based on an affordable, sliding scale for people who need support in negotiating a crisis as well as for those who wish to consider their life patterns and choices. HELP addresses the need for mental health services in the local community, a need not fully met by the NHS.
Our “Dream Evening” Dream Ball will be held March 7th 2014 at the RR Gallery at St. Peter’s Church on Kensington Park Road. All proceeds will be shared between the two charities.
We would be grateful if you could donate art for our “Dream Art” sale and auction.
At the event, Dr. Nigel Hamilton, the Director of the DRI & the CCPE will speak on “Dreams as Mirrors of the Soul”.
With kind regards and best wishes
